Boxing Day Massacre at Caulfield races

The Chosen 9 attended the Caulfield races on Boxing day 2016. All eight who attended this massacre have been found guilty of : 8 separate counts of impersonating a punter. Possibly the more serious charge as a collective, guilty of fraud for claiming to be a punters club. Those who attended witnessed what would become our worst day out in the history of this so called "Punters Club". A few words come to mind ' Disgrace, Disgusting, Woeful and JOKE'. There was a dark cloud hanging over our heads to start the day when we walked into the track and found the Owner and Trainers bar was shut, the day only got worse from there.

This year the betting format was, $150 each punter on a nominated race, a $400 quaddie in Melbourne, a $200 quaddie in Sydney and a $200 early quaddie in Melbourne.

Of the eight $150 bets we had a return of $109. That is $1200 worth of bets with a return of $109....WTF. Which we lost on a race in Esperence, who would of guessed that was going to happen. The two smaller quaddies we got two or three legs not helpful when you need four. I think the most disappointing moment was with the $400 quaddie. OUT FIRST LEG and only got ONE leg in, again....WTF.

All that aside we had an enjoyable day catching up and having a few beers. Until next year. Keep on Punting.
