When the Chosen 9 left Caulfield racecourse last year after a terrible day on the punt, although battered and bruised, there was a look of determination in everyones eyes, ' We are better than this'. Almost 12 months on we discovered that we are not.
From the first week to the last week of the regular punting season it was disaster after disaster. How can the best punter for the year win with MINUS $51 and second place MINUS $116?
At the time of this post there is still about 6 weeks to salvage the year, otherwise it will be a very lean day at the races when we return to our spiritual home Flemington racecourse on Emirates Day.
