The Chosen 9 go to the Pub

Stakes Day 2019 saw the Chosen 9 break from tradition, instead of going to Flemington we went to The Mail Exchange Hotel in the city. The weather was a major factor in our decision as well as a sub par punting performance from the club members during the betting season.

We did manage to have a few collects during the day, leaving the pub with a $450 voucher and $150 in cash, that's $600 better than our last few years. Which of course was spent at the Casino and the Backpackers on the way to the Casino.

Speaking or texting to most of the members everyone seemed to enjoy the day.

Good beer, good food and more importantly good company.
