PunterClub verse the Pub and Casino

This year saw us return to the Mail exchange Hotel. After a decent year on the punt (well for us anyway), eveyone had a slight air of confidence going into the day.

We were down on numbers this from eleven to seven. We won't go into the reasons why four people didn't show, there is no reason not to show up. Anyway the rest of us were prepared to soldier on.

We were given $300 each with a bet in Melbourne and Sydney. As usual the day didn't start off great, then we had an early collect with the third bet of the day $630. Could this be our day to really clean up? No is the simple answer to that. We had a few collects along the way, nothing of great significance though.

At the end of the day we collected $1440. We had another $240 worth of bets and to mour surprise no collect. After we collected, ate and drank our last drinks we headed off to 'The land of dreams" or 'The house of pain' also known as the Casino. With a couple of hundred put aside for drinks the rest was slowly donated to the Casino.

All in all another great day had with a good bunch of people.

On a side note we may have found a 'Trackside' specialist in our international recriut.
